When I first started training in the squat and deadlift I didn’t have a single gym, and even the most advanced training programs couldn’t have afforded me a place to practice my squat and/or deadlift.
As I progressed in my career and discovered I had good genetics, I realized that if I was going to train the squat properly, I would need to learn how to squat correctly and deadlifts properly.
For me, it was time to build a squat bench, and I couldn’t wait to get started.
My training partner, who is a world-class athlete, was also starting his own training program.
He had already learned to squat, deadlift, and bench press, so we set out to train in the same way.
We did this over a couple of years and were constantly training together and with each other, learning how to be strong, fast, and efficient in the sport of barbell training.
As a result, we started working on a barbell program that focused on the squat, bench, deadlifter, and overhead press.
I have a great relationship with my coach, Matt, who teaches me everything from how to lift to how to set up the proper barbell position, and we have worked together for over a decade.
Matt and I have had a great working relationship for the last ten years, and he is an incredible coach.
Matt was always in a rush to get to training.
He has the perfect timing to make sure we are on the same page, and in this case, we were on the right track.
The Barbell Barbell program we began with has worked wonderfully for us.
It’s very simple.
The program is simple to follow, easy to set-up, and easy to execute.
There are no advanced exercises and the program is designed to train your core strength, mobility, and power.
The squat, press, and dead lift are all done with dumbbells, so you will only need a bar and a bar grip.
Matt uses a Barbell barbell bench press grip to start and end every training session, so this allows you to practice every single exercise without the bar.
We do a lot of exercises with a single barbell, like the squat or press.
If you are a beginner, or you are doing some strength training and have trouble performing them correctly, this is the program for you.
It can be done in a single workout or with a series of sessions, or even as a multi-session training program, like a bar barbell squat and press.
This is my first post on Barbell Training.
I’m excited to share what this program is all about, and how it helped me build and maintain the size, strength, and stability I need to be able to perform my sport-specific work.
